I am doing my grade5 violin exam soon and need to know certain key
features of periods of music such as baroque, eg, that it has an
active bass line.
I will be asked which period a piece of music is from and what
stylistic features make it so.
However i only heard about this last week and am quite slow, and i
will need to know a few basic ones for use in the aural tests of this
exam, and the internet is providing nothing simple.
So if anyone can link me to a site or explain it themselves in simple
terms for me, that'd be really fab:)
