How do I get horror movies out of my head?

I watched my first horror movie today. It wasn't really scary, just
really gory. I hate gore so much. I promised myself I'll never watch
one again.

I didn't even have a choice. I went to a saxaphone sectional and they
all chose that movie. I wouldn't have gone if I had known.
